People can talk stuff, but mainstream video games are not dumb! I got Portal, The Sims 2, World of Warcraft, UEFA Euro 2008, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4, etc. and I'm fascinated with them. However, I agree they are a bit more expensive than other, less known games, but still that doesn't make them bad, as some speak.

Here's a question: I got the Portal recently, and I didn't see any cake so far. Is it true that the cake is a lie?
